It goes without saying that US online casinos players are very upset about this legislation. The main reason online gambling experts are analyzing whether or not this was the right move for the US government regarding the online casino industry and online gambling in general.
Many feel that the online casinos gaming ban turns people into criminals, even when they are playing at overseas online casinos. They also feel that in passing this anti-gambling bill, crime is being created where it shouldn’t need to exist. Additionally, the prime beneficiaries of the assault on computer wagering appear to be local bookies and illegitimate web sites run by organized crime.
What will happen in the future for the online casinos industry and US online gambling fans is still unknown. Maybe the law will be overturned by the new government – maybe this will happen when Bush is out of power? Maybe it won’t happen at all. No matter what, around the world, different countries have different approaches to dealing with online casinos and online gambling. Some side with the US and others have regulated and legalized online gambling.
