Home > 1 Sep 2005 Online Casino Launches Poker Show1 Sep 2005 Online casino poker’s popularity seems to know no boundaries, and evidence is that the rise of America’s favorite card game will continue for some time to come, especially with the recent announcement that Fox Sports Net has partnered with online casino poker giant Full Tilt Poker to present “Full Tilt Poker Net Presents: Learn from the Pros”. Episodes will start to be shown on the evening of September 27, with new episodes airing at 4:30pm every following Sunday with repeats Tuesdays at 8:30pm. It will be hosted by Chris Rose of “the Best Damn Sports Show Period” and well-known poker pro Howard Lederer.“The time is right for an entertaining show about poker that is also truly educational," said Lederer, winner of two WSOP bracelets, two World Poker Tour titles as well as many other online casino poker and traditional poker tournaments. “I am excited to be working with FSN and Full Tilt Poker to make this first-of-its-kind poker show.” Guests set to make appearances on the “Learn from the Pros” show include World Series of Poker (WSOP) champion Chris Ferguson, seven-time WSOP bracelet winner and poker legend Erik Seidel, 2004 American Poker Championship winner Phil Ivey, plus Jennifer Harman, the first woman to ever win two WSOP bracelets. Also, expected are 2004 Card Player Magazine Player of the Year Daniel Negreanu and Gus Hansen. The online casino show’s executive producer, Mark Mayer, says “There is such a thirst out there for all things poker, not just online casino poker. We want to help poker players of all abilities take their game to the next level, whether they are playing at a casino, at home with friends or online at a casino.
