Players are hoping for an outcome in which President Bush will decide to use his power to strip away add-on bills to primary bills like the online casino legislation which was added on to an unrelated defense bill. It is in players' best interest that this should happen, resulting in the bill being sent back to Congress to be debated and voted on as an individual bill.
The march is timed to let President Bush consider the strong opposition the bill is causing. Demonstrators will meet in front of the Washington Monument on Monday, October 9th at 9am EST and organizers are inviting all supporters of freedom to come to Washington to protest the bill that would finalize online casino gaming.
